Oh sweet mother of all things holy.... I have a shot on board, prescription strength hydrocortizone cream, antihistamines and a steroid pack to start taking to morrow. This is the first time in a couple of days that I haven't felt like digging my skin off with a fork.
Thankfully, I walked in and they took me first.

I'll feel better... YAY!! But I still totally look like the worst case of teenage acne you ever saw. I will be doing some creative making up. I can't do anything about the bumps, but they don't have to be bright red.

ghost19 You have a terrifying reaction to poison ivy - my gosh, do you ever go in the woods. You should see my husband gear up to cut the shrubbery on the wood side of the fence. He's had it really bad before - like it took months to totally get over it.

Research has told me that the company i am interviewing for are the ones that made the O-Rings for the shuttle disaster.

ATK (used to be Thiokol) is based here in Utah near where I live. This is where they make the rocket boosters. They just tested one of the newest most powerful ones the other day. It rattled the windows from about 30 miles away!
I remember when the shuttle disaster happened of course. Hopefully they have made many improvements to the O-rings since then.

Thanks Holly. I'm still very allergic to it, but old age and treachery has made me much more wary of where I step when I'm fishing or working in the yard. You know how it is when you're a kid, you just tear ass around without thinking about catching anything.
