....Hey girl!......I would disagree that there is any connection between the two, the SC is a delusion that may or may not have had form, but at best would have been a minion of the MIB...and MIB that has backstory as a "person"......

Didn't the Space Cowboy prove to be Raymond Joubert, the deranged serial killer, at the end of the book? He wasn't supernatural, although he first seemed like it. I think it was just a weird coincidence that he was in the area, and no connection to the Man in Black. But, it is all a world of fiction, and you can connect characters any way you want. That's the fun!

Welcome to the board!

I don't know about the Space Cowboy, but Randall Flagg Is Walter o' Dim and quite a few others really. Where ever R. F. Initials are used (mostly) throughout my Kingverse it's all different variations on the same (dude) idea. That's something to think on though.

....Space Cowboy isn’t an incarnation of the Walkin’ Dude....maybe a minion, but not the main man....

Yeah, never thought so, I can see where the idea would come from though. Especially when you read through some of these novels for the first time. After about the sixth novel he appeared in (from my point of view) I started to feel that ol' "Soylent Green is people!" Conspiracy theory fervor where EVERYONE was Randall Flagg!! Lol, but pretty descriptive of how my actual excited conversations went with people who had no idea what I was talking about.

I legit broke out the books and references for my mother, who doesn't read, couldn't have cared less, and has no appreciation for intricacies.
