That's funny, I believed him that it wasn't a hallucination, and thought the wife was clueless that's why she didn't see it. Maybe it was scared of her.

It definitely established how smart he it; was not a fan of him calling the contestants names though.

I can't (for like of a better term) put my finger on it! Sorry!!! But I think I just felt so sorry for Howard, that I picked up on his emothions of Vi.

I think the way SK described their marriage and interaction would probably be accurate of about 80% of the marriages in this country (if not higher).

In the last couple paragraphs of the story, The Category, The Inexplicable, the answer is, 'Because they can' Howard said ' Why do terrible things sometimes happen to the nicest people? Liked that a bunch. You guys think it is the theme to this story?

And also, how indescribable things happen to "normal" people.
