Now I know why there were so many "skeletons" in the Pine Barrens (old stomping ground as a teen). As Scott said,excellent idea for extra needed cash-- and I live in the woods!

I had the pleasure of hearing Steve himself tell this very story live in Sewickley PA several months ago, I look forward to re-reading to see if he changed anything! Thank you for posting the link, Marsha!
It was OK. A bit of a throwaway in my opinion. I thought it was smart the way he referenced the couple in the painting right up front and it made me go back and forth to it at the top of the page to see exactly what he was describing. I was engaged at that point and hoping for a deeper story, I guess. What I got instead was a bit pedestrian. I feel like he took the easy way out. I guess after reading Cookie Jar earlier this year I was expecting something of that caliber.

A good quickie. As usual, I want more. A very intruiging idea. It feels like there is more waiting in the wings. Like cyb I think Cookie Jar was more substantial. Enjoyed it all the same. Thanks for putting it up.
