The screenwriter of this movie...............................

is making a full length 'Are You Afraid of the Dark?' movie; I almost fainted from excitement when I found out, he's the perfect person to handle the project. 'IT' and 'Are You Afraid of the Dark?' are similar in that they have a cast of kids who feel like a family. I think Dauberman can bring that aspect to the movie and make it memorable.

Keep in mind Dauberman had fairly little to do with the script. The bulk comes from Fukunaga & Palmer, especially the 'kids who feel like a family' parts. Dauberman's job was pretty much to sit in a room with Andy Muchietti and incorporate the director's ideas into the Fukunaga/Palmer script.

It will be interesting to see the movie of Are You Afraid of the Dark. I remember this show.
