I could not find a DR sleep topic link, so since it's really part 2 of the shining...

The movie starts like being in a dream, I didn't quite understand the connections, and having seen the movie Dark Tower, it did terrify me that I might not like this movie, it didnt make sense to imagine that, by the end I was very happy it was coming together,,, which patches up.. makes up for Dark Tower ness.

The movie breaks an old tradition of depicting the villains as ugly, and as I saw that lovely blond feasting, I thought this is a good social reminder not to take rides from strangers, yet it was hard to have any empathy whatsoever for the kid, because the imagination of the enjoyment of its consumption, is really reallly interesting to me, sounds like meditation, I mean who needs physical presence, just the idea of pulling out spirit... feeding... anyhow it felt like I was either for the beautiful blond or for the little boy, and I guess having not had children, I'd argue because I didn't go for the eviler choice of the blonds... bah who knows.

I has just watched zombieland double tap, then Dr Sleep... then watched Joker, and by the end of that one, I think I was just twisting my own mind because it was like somehow the insane version of an epiphany, without me understanding what it is the insight is.

I liked how the shining was explained, about the Hotel, and the coffins inside the guy... ohhh theres soo much in there.. it's such a good idea... it's like... it's soo.. it's a movie there.

Evil on evil was fun.. I mean, maybe that was the original point of epiphany, that was almost the theme of all three movies, less obvious with double tap... just a warm up

well cheers
