Helloooooooooooooo ...... as to be expected, im re-reading the stand again. Very very **very** excited ;-D to see what happens with Josh and his plans. Currently have some time off work so am going to indulge myself and watch the mini series in one sitting. Currently perusing the interwebx as after a first edition print (kinda hoping there will be a windfall so i can make a purchase !) Although all donations gratefully accepted !:heheh:

(PS Welcome ...... )

The Stand movie remake status...

I’m hearing The Stand is set to be a single three-hour R-rated feature film, preceded by an eight-part miniseries on Showtime? Sound about right?

I absolutely am a big fan of "The Stand"....I love the mini series and Im watching it again at the moment for the upteenth time ( Ive watched it so many times Ive lost count)...
I've read the book the uncut version and really enjoyed it....
I love the idea that certain characters in the story are drawn to Mother Abagail...while others are drawn to Flagg....it kind of gives me the impression that if the world does come to an end, there will be a duel between God and the Devil to see who takes over the earth and the last remaining people....
There is so many cool characters in this film...I love Stu, Nick, Larry, Tom and Harold and Trash Can Man and Flagg is cool....and of course (Stephen King)...
