I think to hurt him so, because he is a craftsman.

That's probably it :) I was really po'd at Eichorst for what was about to happen to Setrakain. Any remaining hope I had that Eichorst might have just a little bit of compassion vanished.

(Somehow I missed your post so I'm replying late :( )

I am really really liking The Strain :) The Walking Dead is going to have to pick up the pace and the producers are going to have to spend some of that 6 mil/episode they're profiting on special effects if they don't want The Strain to steal all their viewers.

Say what? $6m per ep profit? :Oo:
Right. That's me cutting TWD zero slack in the coming season. Don't much care about more gore and/or FX, but I do want more from the story and no farm/prison-type circle-jerking. Or whatever it was they were doing.

But...The Strain starts here this coming Wednesday, albeit on a relatively obscure channel. From what I've read, it seems I might like it.

The Strain has been consistently entertaining from week to week building up the characters, the impending sense of doom, providing great gross out moments, and all done with a wonderfully dark sense of fun. Sure there are logic gaffes from time to time but nothing too distracting. The show is entertaining.

I dropped The Walking Dead last season already. It became like watching the slowest swirling of water going down the drain with not even a glimmer of a stopper being put in to allow a change in story direction.
