This is currently on Netflix.

I really enjoyed it. Lots of twists and turns.

If anyone has read the book, I'd be curious to know how closely they followed it. I know the book setting is America, right? They switched that to Great Britain. But any major plot changes from book to screen?

This was on my news feed the other day......

Okay, I like the convuluted story of The Stranger. I like the twists and turns. I like the red herrings. It makes you work hard to follow this story and I like that. I don't want to be spoon fed information. Involve me. Make me a part of the story by trying to figure out what the hell is going on. I loved it.

I'm also enjoying The Outsider. It's more a slow burn. Very very different energy with these two.

One is fast paced and frenetic while the other is very methodical and controlled. And I can appreciate both styles.

Did you catch Harlan Coben's cameo? There are quite a few plot changes according to this article. I thought it was okay but not great. I stuck with it to the end but it tried my patience at times.
No! Where was his cameo?

I thought it was great. I loved the messy energy it had because life is messy and the unbelievable happens every day.

A person either pays attention and commits or taps out early.
