I've been looking but haven't found anything regarding this book by Stephen King and Peter Straub?

Is it on this website and have I missed it?

If not, is there no love for this book?

And is it counted as part of his multiverse or is it a complete stand alone?

I don't understand WHY King's books are constantly being adapted, re-adapted and sequelised for TV and film and NOBODY has made a series of this book yet. It is probably the last great King novel that hasn't been touched (sullied?) by Hollywood.

Well, if they let Mr. king do the adaption like they did The Stand, then it would be a good one.

I too would like to see a god live action adaption of the book.

But i think it's the written by two authors that complicates things because how do you get the copyrights and royalties?

It's not that they haven't tried, it's just been in development hell since the beginning.

The Talisman (TV Mini-Series) - Trivia - IMDb

It's now listed as a mini-series, but it's still with Amblin (Spielberg), so I wonder if it'll ever happen. I suppose it had the most chance when Garris was to direct it; whether you like his films or not, he gets things done. But it was deemed too expensive.
