Ok, been trying to find my next book today, what do you guys think of the Troop?

Is as bad as the reviews make out? (I Hope so!!)

Good start but very unoriginal ending. It isvery clear the author has read certain books and he does not try to hide it.

Couldn't agree more. This was a major disappointment. Doubtful I will fit another Cutter book onto my reading list.

Still to read this, been on my kindle for ages.
I read The Deep by him, which also started great but started to wear thin for me towards the end.

I liked The Troop. Didn't care for his latest, Little Heaven.

I read it a while back. It was alright. There were a couple of scenes that were a little too much for my taste and made me squirm (think of the 'sh*t weasle' scene from Dreamcatcher). He obviously used some ideas from other books.

I liked The Troop enough to try another one. It happened to be Little Heaven and I didn't care for it. Always wanted to try The Deep though so maybe some day
