TWD execs would have legions of the walking LIVING staggering across their lawns if they dare go there.
And the show would quickly become a ghost town. They kill Daryl, they kill the show.
Maybe so. To my mind, though, if a single character (who isn't the focal character) is needed to prop up a whole show, maybe it shouldn't be standing at all. Don't get me wrong--i do like the character, and Daryl was a great deviation from the comics, but he's one of an ensemble. I'd be sad if he died, but not devastated. Tell you what, though--no character introduced in the last season or two comes anywhere close to being as well-rounded. It would be hard to fill that place.
