Just wanting to raise some awareness of a new short film I am making:
The Whisperers | Indiegogo
As an aspiring screenwriter/director, I have always been inspired by King's work. His particular brand of horror is especially effective because it always stems from the human condition. In a King tale, it is often those who survive the "monster" who endure the worst fate, because the "monster" is never only external.
I want to capture that same truth in this film (and in all my future films... a King adaptation someday, perhaps?...), which is why I'm posting about it here. I believe this is a story fellow King fans would appreciate, and I know that the bulk of my support must come from fans of the genre rather than my own local film community (very active but still struggling to grow). So take a look if you have a moment.
