I am uncertain if this is allowed but have been member of other fan-based message boards and they allow trades between members.

I have SK book collection that I am proud of--I say it is taller than me by half at least but I just realized that I have NO copy of Carrie. Not even a bent paperback from high school. Some of my books are first editions--some of them are not so great . I try to run to the store the minute a new one comes out. I can't read them as fast as he writes them but I buy the new book for the collection anyway.

Is anyone willing to trade a decent copy of Carrie for a shrink wrapped (never opened) Buick 8 with some sort of book club-looking card inside the wrap? It is the first edition jacket with the blue Buick on the front. ISBN 0-7432-4467-5

Why don't you just buy a new copy at the bookstore or buy a copy online either new or used? Are you Italian?

I did find my copy of Carrie. It is in a collection of stories in a red hardcover--SK's first four stories I believe.
I made offer to trade because I thought someone might like to have the sealed copy of Buick 8 who is more of a collector than I am. I have an opened copy of Buick 8 that I read. I think I picked up the sealed copy with a card in the shrink wrap at a thrift store. An odd find considering thrift store books are usually previously used.
