When I heard they were working on a TV series, my immediate thought was "Yet another unnecessary version made just to exploit King's brand." This trailer confirms it. It looks like garbage.

If this is going to be some nonsense where the mist makes people hallucinate and send them crazy, I'm not even bothering to watch the pilot. I'll stick to the excellent film adaptation.
Are you suggesting the Crimson King may be behind it all? Could be, I suppose. It certainly wouldn't be the first time the CK has crossed worlds. I just re-watched the movie to freshen my memory and there is very little that speaks of the origin of the inter-dimensional breach beyond the suggestion that it was a US Army experiment gone awry. I always thought of the breach as a hole to a pre-historic world. Does anyone else see it that way?But what if there things in the mist that worse then the monsters ? What if their is malevolent guiding intelligence that orchestrated the events that cause the dimensional break between the the worlds?
Looking forward to the series. For once I don’t think I’ll mind them reimagining Kings story line. Ten one-hour episodes inside a supermarket would be pure hell.
I don't remember if it was all 10 episodes although imdb.com is giving him credit for them.Is this a fact, Moderator? (referring to post above #15)
I have to say I don't understand why it's being made at all. The film was so good and it looks like everything is being changed for no good reason. When I heard they were working on a TV series, my immediate thought was "Yet another unnecessary version made just to exploit King's brand."
