I lived though that whole ordeal, although I don't remember too much about it other than even in the small town where I lived neighbors were terrified that it was going to happen there. I did read Helter Skelter and that was enough. I don't want to waste my time on this sick individual (notice I didn't use the terms 'human' or 'person'?) He deserves to be forgotten about IMHO. It's not a judgement on you, Deej, please don't take it that way, alright? I just like to live my life not thinking about what kind of sick, twisted monsters are out there.

No, I totally understand. Some people don't want to spend one more minute on criminals like this.

I find them repugnant on one hand, but fascinating on the other. I want to wring the very last drop out of them to understand how this happens. So we can maybe head things off like this in the future. We never know what people who feel marginalized will do.

Well, I personally was disappointed with this. Nothing new, or at least that I hadn't heard, was revealed. There may have been some new people speaking, and maybe some new clips, but nothing earth shattering.

What is quite clear from this new one, these murders left very deep, painful wounds that have not softened over time.

You ever read this one DJ? I read it a few years ago, had some good info as far as C. Manson's past which I hadn't really ever read about. It was a pretty solid read.
