Quite looking forward to this, though I'm iffy about Franco--his acting is very uneven. Sometimes he's really good, and others...not so good. In any event, it should be interesting to see how the story is handled onscreen.

I see they have a Canadian playing Sadie - I hope she does the part justice.

Doesn't seem that complicated to me. It's got the one main flashback storyline to follow, framed by present-day stuff, all told with Jake as the de facto narrator. There's a lot of detail in the book, but that detail seems fairly easy to deal with in the movie side of things. Nowhere near as complex as DT, or even Hearts in Atlantis (which is why, I'm guessing, those filmmakers confined themselves to the "Low Men in Yellow Coats" segment.)

Hey I bet. I am just saying things got mingled with me. The show started I watched like five episodes and was hooked then it turns out its a book so I was just like ooh heeellllll no. so i read the book i will watch the series eventually I got to give it enough time to forget stuff otherwise i cant pay attention.

Hearts in atlantis LOOOOOOOVED when i saw it as a kid. When that kid was running up the hill with the little girl crying just great.
