2 is the lie
No that one is true - (I'm pretty old!)

Back in the old days when Rush was just starting out they played at my high school (Sutton District High School). I think I was about 17 years old.

The sad part is I hadn't heard of them, although people said they were really good, so I didn't go to the dance!

Hoho - gotcha!

The correct answer is # 3

My ex-husband was a flight steward with 437 Squadron out of Trenton, Ontario. He flew Prime Minister Brian Mulroney and his wife to New York in the Boeing 707. He served them my home made cookies.

On the trip back Brian asked if he had any more of those cookies, as they were good, but unfortunately they were all gone by then.

Being a fan myself, I am saddened that you missed the opportunity to see Rush in their formative years.

Yeah - story of my life - I missed seeing the Rolling Stones at the El Mocambo in Toronto in 1977 as well because I didn't really like April Wine (my boyfriend at the time wanted to take me) :facepalm_smiley::facepalm:

Woke up, mumbled a cab from somewhere. Met up with shellbelly again somehow. I was injured as was she.

She had a man in the room! Just friend. Never to see again. Nice guy that helped her with car accident injury.
( I had helped her days before, because we drank water, she got sick, and I went out and got magic crystals to stick in her ears and belly button) true.
Not to mention that she got stuck in one of those big wicker chairs in a bush during a nice lunch. It rolled over on her. Still a little skittish.

The man in the room showed up months later at her door. All the way from Canada. Just sitting there on the doorstep.

Oh my, she was shocked and I had to introduce myself saying 'guess you met my evil twin'. ack.

I will have to call her to remember what happened after.. Never say, 'I will never see these people again'

Absolutely love it!! Hope we meet some day and trade some stories. The book would be a bestseller (and we could make a s**tload of cash).
