2 is the lie
No, that's true! :smile2: I didn't know he was in the theater until I walked out into the lobby when the movie was over. He walked out beside me. It was pretty surreal-- watching a movie and then seeing the star of the film standing next to you after it ends! I was a young teen and it made quite an impression on me. Also in the audience was Barbara Feldon, who played Agent 99 in the Get Smart TV show from the sixties.

What a cool thread! And everyones posts are so interesting!

1. When my sister and I were younger, we did quite a lot of stuff on television.
2. I'm extremely good at maths, and passed my GCSE 2 years early.
3. I'm addicted to spicy food and have a cupboard full of chilli sauces.

I'm going to say... #3 is the lie.

1) I was once a professional footballer (soccer player, if you must ).

2) I am a semi-famous author.

3) I used to be a member of UK Special Forces.

Actually, thinking on it...I'll say #2 is the lie. My year (final year 1988/89) was the 2nd to take GCSEs. You're a year older than me, so your year should have been the first (final year 1987/88) to take the new exams. GCSEs didn't exist 2 years before that, so for #2 to be true, it would have to have been the old 'O' level you took, not a GCSE!

#1 is false.

Mr Nobody..... you got me bang to rights there. You're amazing skills of deduction are right. Number 2 is a lie. I am amazingly bad at maths, and failed my GCSE 3 times, still haven't got one in maths. Blunt, my sister and I were on the tv a fair bit when we were younger.

And as far as yours is concerned Mr Nobody. Number 1 is a lie because I I'm pretty sure I know 2 and 3 are right :)
