Hey Everyone,

I really hope that a member of Stephen's team sees this and is able to amend the error.

I'm not going to lie, I'm a little pleased with myself that I found this and am able to let you know to correct future editions. End of Watch, page 89, line 3, "dugs".

I will happily join the Stephen King proof-reading team to provide my exceptional service to my favourite author.

It can happen, I reckon you could have a perfectly proofed document, but when it goes through the printer's computer or whatever they use , a typo can occur. I know this guy who works at a printer place and everything computerised, and stuff in proof read and spell checked, and sometimes a typo will still occur because no technology is 100% all the time, that's why I would never get de-materialized like in Star Trek. It show though that you're concentrating on the book and it is refreshing that you haven't got your nose glued to a cell phone like most people have ten hours a day. I wonder what people did before cell phones?

They may have already caught this for future printings, but I'll pass it along. If you ever find another, we have a link on the bottom of the Home page of the site to Report an Error/Typo in a Book.

What edition are you finding that in? I have a first edition first printing of the hardcover and that reference is on page 107 but has it as "drugs" not "dugs".

Just ck'd my first edition first printing hardcover on p 107-- word is "drugs".

Aye - I agree - checked my copy as well and it says drugs.

Even on page 157 of the large print edition (which I just finished reading, having borrowed it from the library) it says drugs as well, not dugs :umm::question_pig:

I'm wondering if it might have been an Advance Reader Copy since the mistake got changed before publication of the hardcover. I may be mistaken, but I was under the impression that they use the same digital copy for the printing of the paperback that was used for the hardcover.
