Well I'm pretty disgusted as it doesn't look like we're going to get a chance to get this. As Hearts in Atlantis is my favourite novel, and we only get two new releases a year, April and November I'm really not at all happy.
Usually my son gets me Novembers book as it's always on my Christmas wish list, but unless he goes on Amazon US which he won't I'm going to be disappointed. Not good enough Stephen, those times resonate with us over here too, and surprisingly most of us can easily follow US English!

...this is a University of Maine release so you need to stop the bitching at King....you are being insulting to our host, try doing a little homework before you open your yap and fall in....

We're all Constant Readers and king-a-holics and we all want our 'fix'. I myself was a little miffed that France got a special little story that was only available in Europe. But, patience paid off as the rest of the world got to read that tale after a year or so.

Apologies if my original post seems to have annoyed some people.
I'm obviously wrong, but having read forthcoming titles, I assumed Nov.6th was a general release date, not a limited U.S.date. I either misread it, or it wasn't very clear.
(Just re-read it, and it really doesn't state at all that it's not a general release. I do think Stephen could have made this clear!)

It is going to be available from bookstores that order it from the University of Maine press so is not an exclusive release by them.

While I understand that this is a U of M release, it is a little disappointing that the cost outside the U.S. is prohibitive once you factor in postage and packing.
Perhaps your local bookstore would be able to order it for you although I do think the UMaine Press is asking bookstores for a minimum order. They'd have to get in touch with them about that, though. That might make the price more within reach as they get a discount which should make up for the shipping costs.

Thanks. Worth checking out.
