Call me... well whatever... but to be honest, I would be happy if not one more TV or movie adaptation was ever made from a SK book. I love the books, but rarely like the adaptations. In fact, I've only seen about 30% of what is available. When it comes to my favorite authors, I am much more a book fan. For example: I love Chuck Palahniuk and Fight Club is one of his best books, but I have never seen the movie and probably never will. But that's just me.

“It took me 35, 36 years to write ‘The Dark Tower.’ I can wait [for the movie],” King said. “We’ve been close a couple of times. I’m content to see what happens. Sooner or later, it’ll show up.”
...so when I'm 89, it'll just be showing up on screen...great, won't even remember the story by then-and I'll urinate on the seat....
