Yes, but... Creepshow 2 was still written by King. If you’re gonna put a creepshow movie in here it would have to be 3.

In any case, Creepshow 2 was not written by King. It was based on his stories, but the screenplay was by Romero, and, uncredited, Lucille Fletcher.

Yeah I understand I wasn’t very specific and apologize for that. I know he didn’t direct it, but I thought he stills wrote Creepshow 2.

Where the first and last story in Creepshow 2 come from, I don't know. They didn't appear as short stories ever and if he wrote them specifically for the film, you would imagine he would be credited for the screenplay along with Romero.
Maybe they're just from a drawer of unpublished stories (they're not exactly his strongest stories ever). Apart from that Creepshow 2 clearly suffers from insufficient budget - it was less than half the budget of the first one.
