I'm thinking it could be someone new, too! :) The season just started, so there might be even more characters that we haven't met yet! I haven't read the book, but yes, the town can't be that big, can't it? ;)

Another character (the town barber) who has been in town all along, we just haven't met him, makes his first appearance next week. I'm excited, he's my favorite country singer and a pretty good actor too :)

The only time I feel the pain,
Is in the sunshine or the rain.
And I don't feel no hurt at all,
Unless you count when teardrops fall.
I tell the truth 'cept when I lie,
It only hurts me when I cry.

Have you seen The Deaths of Ian Stone? A rather interesting movie with Mike playing the main part.

I also think that teacher is very strange, she also hides somethings. And there are really a lot of things unclear... I would add to your list that in the first season the dome seemed to want Big Jim dead (remember when children saw themselves with knifes), and what now... That's strange.

Thanks! I'll look for The Deaths of Ian Stone :)

I'd forgotten the children saw themselves with knives. I'm beginning to suspect the writers are starting anew with the second season without trying to tie in events from the first season.

No, because I had no idea he was in all that, too. He was in Grounded For Life. I had a hard enough time getting used to that. Now I find out he was in all THAT? I don't keep up with it. Living in Los Angeles, I think I started to ignore them. I wasn't famous so I wasn't really part of their culture. And I certainly wasn't as wealthy as they all seem to be. The A-line anyway.
I don't know if he likes horror. I just know he's married. I always find that out first. I don't know how she can stand watching him in scenes like that damn bedroom scene.
I can't figure out why Julia stayed with Barbie after she found out he killed her husband. Or has she not found that out yet?
I missed all kinds of episodes from last year because our work in the summer is downright crazy. All this damn gun violence. Two days ago some guy shot a person and we expedited the patient into surgery where he died on the operating table.
The police started looking for the person who did it, but he got away clean.
Last night he came back to the exact same spot and shot 3 more people, seriously injuring one and being caught by police, cuffed and taken into custody.
The guy had made a getaway. Why the hell did he come back to the same place and shoot three more people?
And what the hell is a person like that doing with a gun? It's a rhetorical question.
The point is that I missed too many episodes and CBS isn't letting you re-watch them. I tried to watch online and it refused to work.

Oh yeah! He played Lily's temporary boyfriend in Grounded for Life. He was so young back then. :)

I could not do your job :(

That should be interesting! Is this who you are talking about? :) (I remember him from Wilfred, he was in a couple of episodes)

I have now, I just hope uploading his answer works. I had to take a picture of the screen and then upload it bc I have no idea how to send Twitter messages anywhere else online, the way other people know how.

Thanks! I forgot that was a screenie and tried to click on View Conversation lol. I'm kinda impressed he knows the difference between horror and sci-fi. Most people think if the alien is monstrous, its a horror story... even me and I'm a sci-fi fan lol

first episode second season was the best. loved the stove, knives, etc... danger! danger! ordinary things. Pure Stephen King!

Of course he didn't kill Angie. Red Herrings all over the place.

I hope the entire special effects budget wasn't used up in the first episode. There are so many oppertunities for great special effects :)

I'm afraid so... It would be better if things were connected, otherwise it's a mistake of those who create the series... Well, we'll see where it all ends and then we'll judge.

I'm posting this still from next week's episode just because it brightens my day :)

I unreasonably expected it to be a thrill a minute like the first episode but the story was furthered along without fillers like the first season so I liked it :)

Who do y'all think
killed Angie?

Lina I still like Junior more than Barbie ;;D You might need to create a new poll :)

Junior: "Hey Uncle Sam, I read in this book that I found that I killed Angie and kept her body in a pantry. I think it might have been me that killed her."

All joking aside, I wouldn't rule out
Junior. As a Castle fan, we watch that show and decide "Well that must not be the killer, it is only 10 minutes into the episode". At some point, one of these shows is going to put all of these obvious references out there to get everyone to dismiss a person, and then have it turn out to be that person in the end. Hiding in plain sight type thing. Plus, don't forget that Junior was a bit of a psycho for a while there in the first season, and of course the book.

I re-watched the last episode of season one and the first episode of season two yesterday. I feel really dumb but I missed a couple obvious clues :( First, the lady of the lake surfaced just about where the egg was dropped, so maybe I should be calling her the lady of the egg. Second (and my only excuse for missing this one is I couldn't tell the teacher and the egg-lady apart the first time I watched), after Barbie's group decided the dome didn't want anyone killed, the egg-lady apologized to Linda and closed her eyes, confirming deaths were not desired.

Soooooooo... now I'm thinking
the new menace (the one that killed Angie) might not be human. Maybe the new menace is a convict from the egg's home world banished to Earth and imprisoned in the dome. And maybe the egg-lady is the convict's guard that needed to be released from the egg. Maybe she is only able to observe and needs the help of humans... and that's why she didn't interfere when Angie was killed. Or maybe I just watch too much Doctor Who lol.

Do y'all think the new menace is human or alien?
