I actually liked last week's episode. It was much faster paced than previous episodes. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's show. I don't think questions from season one and two will be answered but I think season three will be tied together. It might disturb me though if Big Jim somehow becomes a good dad and if Junior somehow accepts him as one.

Totally agree with you there. I still found the acting/writing questionable, but it held my attention more than most episodes.

I have a question... Where did those scientists and that island come from? Were they always there in seasons one and two? Or were they included as part of the new storyline when season three began?
The island, Bird Island, was definitely there in the second season. Not sure about the first. I believe the scientists are from the third season, though Aktaion, the company they work for, was introduced in the second season.

I watched it this morning before heading to work, because I am going to be out of town this weekend.

I thought it was actually a good ending. It felt very rushed to get through the action, but I could live with what happened to everyone. And I don't mind a cliff hanger either. But I really am done, just in case they try to bring it back. LOL

I was disappointed :( I wanted a real ending, not one that leaves the story open for a sequel.

I understand, but I knew that the new Queen wasn't dead that easy, so I was expecting her to show up again. I think it's really hard to put a real ending on it since they opened it up to the aliens and possibly worse aliens out there coming our way. Also, I guess I'm used to having many SK works not really telling me, yeah, it all worked out in the end.
Anyway, it's only a month until AHS: Hotel starts! =D

The episode was written and filmed before the network decision to cancel. The writers already knew there might be a chance of cancelation, thus they wanted some closure as well as leaving it open just in case they could continue.
