In a recent interview, SK said the following: "As it turns out, King retains the power not only to scare his readers, but also himself. He was cagey about Revival, noting ominously that, “It’s too scary. I don’t even want to think about that book anymore.” When pressed, he continued, “It’s a nasty, dark piece of work. That’s all I can tell you.”"

The only reason I’m waiting ”patiently” is because I think I can fill the wait time by reading The Shining, Doctor Sleep, The Talisman, and Under the Dome part 1 and 2.

I’m not actually going to wait patiently. I know Ms. Mod won’t break her seal of silence, so I won’t bother with the cute faces :adore: :m_loveu::snot_bubble:

Ill just do this

:table::m_tantrum:

and this

:teary::cry_002::big_tears:

Ok, I am done being immature...for now.I will go back to reading The Shining

I was looking forward to this more than Mr. Mercedes, which I really wasn't thrilled about.

Now, I have started Mr. Mercedes and I love it. As for Revival, I'm not so thrilled anymore. I thought is was about a Faith healing revival type religious leader. But it sounds like I was wrong. Now, I'm kind of on the fence. I'll eventually read it, but I won't be running out while it's new.

There is that element in it but I can't say much more without giving away the plot.

I do not know how spooky the story Revival is going to be, but after posting in this topic my bathroom lights blinked and completely went out, all six light bulbs.

I did not make that up. Bathroom lights are expensive and a pain in the ass to find, and they all went out at the same time. :grumpy:

I'm not sure I can remain very patient as normally I can't with a King novel. And this one sounds awesome! So, I will impatiently wait and save the patience for when I slowly read it and take in what sounds like a very creepy story.

Oh, man! Now I can't even sit still.

I just finished my Advance Copy of Revival. This has to be the darkest story King has written. The ending is so nasty I truthfully don't know if I'm going to reread this for a long, long time.

:eek::eek::eek:

Marsha, are you at least allowed to tell us how many pages are in Revival; I would like to know how many nights of sleep I’m going to be missing.
