**spoilers ahead for this who havent watched this**

I know it was a bad movie, but its one I can rewatch a lot. The faces of the ghosts freak me out especially the part when Emery (I think thats his name) turns around and the woman is in bed with him, I first saw this when I was young and even now I refuse to have a bare arm out of my blankets when im in bed because of this scene. And his mother oh my gosh she is crazy I was happy when she got caught, I didn't like Steve he irritated me a bit and Sukeena seemed really shifty. Ive read the Diary of ellen rimbour but I wish a proper book of Rose Red was released. I would totally live in Rose Red......maybe.

Hey, Bounce. Which parts? This movie was about as scary as a bowl of cereal. I did think
the statues with moving eyes were creepy
and the characters were compelling enough to keep me watching. The King cameo made it worthwhile. :D

The idea of houses that are alive terrify me. I have nightmares about houses that have doorways that don't always lead to the same room. Other than that, I'm mostly sane :)

Even outside is not safe lol, with the moving statues.

I forgot about the moving statues :) I gots to admit that I find the idea of moving statues lots scarier since watching the Doctor Who episodes with the weeping angels.

Another thing I think is scary is automatic writing (I'm not sure that's what it's called). The idea that a spirit can take control of your hand creeps me out. Is automatic writing a real thing?

I think it's more a mind trick than anything, they get so into it their mind might wander and they might not notice what they are writing. It would be creepy if it were real.
