I went to this forum once, but no one wanted to talk to me, so I don't go there anymore. I have reconnected with my sound engineering friends over the weekend. You have to spend time with people who respect and appreciate you. Greg Behrendt once said, "Don't waste the pretty."
Are you saying that you went to the Weekend Playground, and no one would talk to you? If so, I find that really difficult to believe. It is on the smaller side, and many of the folks aren't online at the same time, but it is made up of some of the nicest and friendliest people that I've ever had the pleasure of chatting with.

As Sundrop posted, it is a smaller group . Sorry you feel it might be a waste of time. The members are very respectable towards each other, and though replies may not be instant at time, most posts do get an acknowledgement. It's not a chat room, so at times, post are not instant responses.

You'll just have to be patient - often there is only one person on at a time and sometimes there will be two. If you're lucky you'll get 3 or 4 (which is a rare thing). There are only about 57 or 58 members so far (not like SKMB which has a humongous number of members)
There are lots of robots showing up which might inflate the numbers so it looks like more.
