Long days and pleasant nights, Sais,

I read King since I was ca. 13, 14 years old, since ca. 1991. My first Book was eyes of the dragon, absolutely fascinating! I'm registered on the german board since 2004, before the Europevisit I had ca. 68 articles written, after I hear of the visit my articles hopped to 122 articles. If the admin of the german board hadn't send the Newsletter on 29th of October I hadn't known that he comes to Europe! First strike!
I had lose sight of the website and the forum. Also the admin don't send at the moment a regular newsletter because a spamwave hit the website! Strike two!
So I had to buy in shortly time Traintickets to Hamburg and Paris for 285 € (ca. 387 Dollar) puuuh that's much but I'm a Fan! So I'm Fanatic and I bought this tickets!

My both biggest wishes hadn't come true, a signature and a photo with him and me. But it was a terrific adventure and event, because now he' no more a author for me who's somewhere in Bangor has its place, a long long distance away. So he's no more a 'virtual' writer for me, now he's a 'real' writer, because I saw him with my own eyes! Wonderful! But now I think I have to come to Bangor or Boston, hometown of the red sox, do they really wear red sox?????? In Boston he's always in good mood, I hear that he had made a signaturehour about 3 or 4 hours in Boston? Is that correct?

Or I must hope that he come again to Europe, Hope dies last!

Now here are some facts of the european visit :
In Paris were ca. 3500! People who hoped to get a signature, ca. 620! has get a signature, he had made signatures a half hour longer than scheduled, in the whole 2 Hours and a half.
In Hamburg, Congress Center were 2900 visitors at the reading, the event goes about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
In the TV show Markus Lanz in Hamburg were ca. 40-60 fans.
In Munich, Zirkus Krone were 2500 visitors at the reading.

Okay then, so I logged on at the other place and it's all locked. What happened to the old board and why is this one here now? Is it still the official forum? Sorry, I checked the FAQ and searched around a few of the general forum areas but didn't see anything addressing this specifically. Also, what about the member-created discussion threads on the old board? [For posting your poems, short stories and whatnot]. Will there be anything like that here and if not, will there be a place where we can share stories/poems and whatnot?

Sorry for the bombardment but wow, that was unexpected.

P.S. Will there be someone/s here for longer periods of the day to moderate?

Hi and welcome back, ZMeister. Yes, this is still Stephen's official website, we've just had to move to new software. This new board doesn't support the social groups, so no unfortunately there isn't an area for people to post their own work.
The board is open 24/7 and moderators are normally available most times, occasionally there will be a wait. Once you have reached 100 posts, you will become unmoderated.

Take your time to have a good look around and if you're having trouble with something, just ask. :)

Hello everyone! My name is Michael. I have been a Stephen King fan for over two decades now. I've loved to draw for as long as I can remember. I have a great idea for a portrait piece of Stephen King. I've submitted my request to Mr. King's assistant and am eagerly awaiting a response. Please wish me luck! Thank you!
