Welcome to the Board!Hi everyone! I'm a late SK bloomer. I've only read two of his books but hoping to continue--love them! More fun if I can talk about them with, and glean stuff from others I'm thinking.

Hello and welcome!Hello, I'm Anthony. I'm new to the Stephen King Message Board. I love writing. I read "On Writing..." and it helped inspire me to continue writing. For most of my living memory, I have vacationed on the same lake as Mr. King's summer lake house. That was for precisely three decades, from age five until thirty-five, after which I moved to Bangkok to be with the woman I am now engaged to marry. My large family is currently vactioning in Stephen King's lake land as I type this. I dream of one day running into the author by chance, as my youngest sister has. In the meantime, WiFi from the public library he sponsored there helps me keep in touch with my family this week, from my condo on the other side of our spinning orb. Thanks for being an inspiration, Mr. King. Now, I need to learn more normal message board protocol.

IT (the movie) brought me back here, even though I hadn't been very active when I was here before. Mostly just a lurker. Not a creepy lurker, just a read what others are writing and enjoy one. Hi everyone!
Hi and welcome.Hello everyone!
Just recently I read about the birthday of the infinitely miraculous author mr King, and I felt a strong desire to join this marvelous forum to try to discuss and express at least a tiny fraction of my endless love and gratitude for all his works and writings, as well as convey my warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to him on his birthday!
Hi Larry! Welcome to the Board.Hi all, my name's Larry and I'm from England. I've read a few King books and recently started reading him again. Last book I read was Night Shift-great collection, and I am nearly done reading IT. Usually large books scare me a little (I normally read science fiction) as I struggle to find time to read, but having recently watched both versions of IT I was dying to read the book. And I found it so easy to read-its practically flew by (I'm on page 955), his writing is just so good. I find it really hard to put down! I might read Salem's Lot soon and am so looking forward to seeing IT part two at the cinema.
