IT (the movie) brought me back here, even though I hadn't been very active when I was here before. Mostly just a lurker. Not a creepy lurker, just a read what others are writing and enjoy one. Hi everyone!

Hello everyone!

Just recently I read about the birthday of the infinitely miraculous author mr King, and I felt a strong desire to join this marvelous forum to try to discuss and express at least a tiny fraction of my endless love and gratitude for all his works and writings, as well as convey my warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to him on his birthday!

Hi all, my name's Larry and I'm from England. I've read a few King books and recently started reading him again. Last book I read was Night Shift-great collection, and I am nearly done reading IT. Usually large books scare me a little (I normally read science fiction) as I struggle to find time to read, but having recently watched both versions of IT I was dying to read the book. And I found it so easy to read-its practically flew by (I'm on page 955), his writing is just so good. I find it really hard to put down! I might read Salem's Lot soon and am so looking forward to seeing IT part two at the cinema.

Hi guys,
I'm new here. I have been a constant reader since my early teens! ;-D
I love the classics, but some of his recent work is really amazing. So I would like to share my opinions on some King's stuff and receive back your feedback.
Cheers!

Welcome to the Board! Each book has its own thread; check them out and have fun :)

Hey there - I take it you’re a senior citizen from Canada?

Hello! My name is Daryl and I just signed up today. I have been a Stephen King reader for years now. I am not a particularly fast reader but I always like to have a book on the go. Just recently I have been reading a lot and since Christmas I have read Gwendy's Button Box, Strange Weather, The Gunslinger and I am now reading Horns. I have been putting off embarking on my Dark Tower journey for a long time as it felt a bit like preparing to climb a mountain, but not I have started, I am looking forward to The DrawingOf The Three, which I will probably read after Horns.

Well, I just wanted to say hello. I'm not really sure how to navigate the boards yet, but I will try my best :)
