I am not playing any of these.

I watch popular youtube gamers play these. It can be quite entertaining doing it this way because I don't have the patience to fight the regular fights let alone a boss fight. I don't want to find the hidden bullsh*t. I don't want to have to keep repeating a level because I kill myself by falling off the edge, walk into the arms of Mr. and Mrs. Plague who eat my face off, or being ravaged by a rabid badger. Which I would do. Every time.

And I would be pissed to get to level 3 of a 40 level game (and getting to 3 would be quite the accomplishment for me and would take me weeks to get there) and find out that I can't go any further because I didn't collect the golden McDonald's cup from inside portapotty #7 on the haunted loading docks in level 1. And I can't go back and get it.

Anyway, the first two are just who dunnit things. The last one is Twin Peaks inspired.

Contradiction: Spot the Liar! This was fun. I picked the murderer quite early, but it was still entertaining.

The Infectious Madness of Dr. Dekker. I saw this long ago and for the life of me, I can't remember the killer. Actually, I think the killer changes depending on who is playing it and the choices they make.

Deadly Premonition. I think I know the killer. It always boils down to mommy issues.

I'm a bit burnt out on games at the moment, and I think the main culprit is red dead redemption 2. I was left a bit disappointed with it. I encountered so many glitches with my game including one at the very climax of the game that made me have to replay the final mission again, it totally killed any sense of immersion. Some of my other issues were:

Arthur's illness. Your badass protagonist was annoyingly feeble for a good portion of the game. The gangs distaste for killing people appeared to be at the flick of a switch, didn't make much sense. I also felt the long rides set to music didn't quite match up to far away by Jose Gonzalez from red dead redemption 1, the 2 from this game - unshaken and the way it is - they just seemed like they tried too hard to make it artistic and cinematic. The limitations of fast travel. Online is just a repetitive grind.

I completely agree with god of war winning game of the year.

I have Detroit become human downloaded that I haven't played yet. Also, life is strange 2 episode 1, I just haven't felt like starting a new story intense game for a while, and with life is strange 2, I don't know how they could possibly top the first one.

I’m personally excited for the upcoming indie horror/rpg game, World of Horror. It’s a turn based rpg set in Japan and is directly inspired by the works of Lovecraft and Ito. I’m interested to see how they turn the cosmic, inescapable horror of these two writers into a game like this. The art style is unique for something of its genre too, inspired by the graphics of early Macintosh computers.

Plot:
“The year is 198X. Disgusting creatures terrorize a small seaside town in Japan as reality starts to crumble, and the Old Gods reawaken to sate their primal hunger. It's a losing battle, but maybe you've got what it takes to postpone the inevitable. The end of the world is at hand.”

I hope they can do cosmic horror justice. Many Lovecraft/Ito inspired games fail to meet the pure hopelessness of the genre.

This looks very promising and I can play it on my switch! The switch is great for some indie gaming. If you have one you should check out The Long Reach, has a great look and a good story, cheap too.

I do have a switch, I tried to download the demo but I couldn’t get it to run. I plan to play it on the switch when it comes out.

The worst part is that none of them look like actual Pokémon. The art style is....... off. They look fan made. I wonder if the bland design choice was intentional, considering it’s based off the UK :p

That's probably it! What did you think of the Detective Pikachu trailer? Strange...
I want to see it only because I love the way the cgi looks, it’s endearingly cartoonish while still being well textured. Plus this is the first live action Pokémon movie we’re getting. Too bad the actual Detective Pikachu game sucked, waste of $40, I was hoping for something like the Layton games but it was just so awful.

Countries/cities/states that Pokémon games have been based off of

Gen 1- Japan
Gen 2- Japan again
Gen 3- They changed it up a bit and went with Japan
Gen 4- Surprise! Japan
Gen 5- New York City, U.S.A
Gen 6- France
Gen 7- Hawaii, USA
Gen 8- United Kingdom

Personally I’d love a Pokémon region based on Australia or a Latin American country
