i'll make it easy, today will be either Tortelloni or meatballs, i'm leaning towards Tortelloni and ill add some garlic and some pepper to spice thing up and of course there is a cheesesauce in it to. What would life be without cheese? A much duller place and less tasty place.

We need some oatmeal and maple syrup so while I'm out perhaps I should splurge and buy a small ham. I can do it in the oven with pineapple slices and whole cloves stuck into it. This goes good with scalloped potatoes. I'd make potato salad but I think Josh prefers hot potatoes on the side.

Might even get a few Easter treats as reading about them in the Easter thread makes me feel like celebrating - perhaps I'll just get the basket at the Dollar Store but get the good quality chocolate from Shopper's Drug Mart!

Slowcooked pork shoulder, barbecued.

Earlier, I put some dry butter beans in the crock pot with a hunk of hambone and sliced onion then submerged it in two cups of water. This will be tomorrow's dinner. I'm using a can of cream corn and sour cream to make cornbread pudding, too, and I'll probably fry some potatoes.

How many hours on low do you let it cook? I have a ham bone but I’ve never tried to cook dried beans

I'm cooking them on high for about six hours. If they aren't fully cooked I'll let them continue cooking tomorrow. Usually, I cook dry beans on the stove and I continually add water. This method doesn't require me to add water and I can walk away and do other things.

St. Hubert’s chicken pie. St. Hubert’s turkey gravy. Salad
I miss that! We used to go to a place just outside of Ottawa (Orleans) to get ours. They just don't have any St. Hubert's out West. :flat:

I'm assuming you got take-out? I think we might be able to buy the frozen pot pies out my way.

I don’t think there are any restaurants here either. But I contacted them and they label Laayoune contain” if any risk of contamination with my allergens. I can even eat they extremely overpriced but very yummy deserts.

Cooking some spare ribs in the oven on a low heat - put a bit of garlic salt, some powdered ginger and various types of sauce I found in the fridge (plum sauce, ketchup, chili sauce, BBQ sauce) on top of the ribs, plus a bit of water (about a cup or so) in the bottom of the roast pan.

After they were cooking for a while I took the lid off the roaster, lowered the heat some more and sprinkled them with granulated brown sugar.

They smell so good - I hope I can stop myself from having them for a late lunch!

Okay - not an actual picture of mine, but will give you the main idea.
