VampireLily is back!!!!!!

I am in a reading slump at the moment. Cant read anything new. I have been reading some Robot stories by Asimov, some Lovecraft and 1632 by Eric Flint, an alternate History i kind a like. Also The Clan Of The Cavebear by Auel and a SF novel by Robert Silverberg, Downward To Earth.

oops......fell asleep.

What did i miss?
Damn girl, how much thanks giving turkey did you eat?

Speaking of sleeping beauties........I came close to starting that recently, I had started the talisman but the slow and sombre start to it and speaking to friends in different time zones at night (my usual reading time) mean that I've not managed to get past sixty pages. However since starting my new job I've started reading it again on the bus, even though it's only around half an hour each way, so hopefully it has kick started it for me.

Just finished reading Sleeping Beauties. Hats off to Stephen & Owen. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I told my Dad about part 1 of the book being titled The Auld Triangle, when I'd started reading it, and he was amazed about that. Sadly, he never got to find out that Clint Norcross ended up having a beer in O'Byrne's, at the end of the book, while The Dubliners played on the jukebox.

About to start Gwendy's Button Box now...
