Truth, but even as a small child I was floored at some of the close up art.
For as much as we loved Ren and Stimpy, I saw absolutely no humor in Beavis and Butthead. Go figure!

I started re-watching some Ren and Stimpy episodes a few weeks ago. I've been fighting a bad tooth for about 2 years (terrified of dentists) and one night it woke me up in such a throbbing, stabbing pain I gave up on sleep. I watched "Ren's Toothache" at 3:15AM and wondered WTF is wrong with me. I called the dentist that morning when they opened and got an appointment that afternoon. The thing was really jacked up bad so they had to drill it into pieces and pull it that way, then pull the roots. Since it was really bad it wasn't numbed to the roots, so I felt them pulling the roots and it hurt like a b****, but part of me wanted to scream in terror and the other had to keep myself from laughing and spraying the poor hygienist with bits of blood and teeth because I kept thinking that creepy freaking nerve-ending fairy might come overnight and leave a ball of lint under my pillow.
Again, WTF is wrong with me, LOL.
That could have been it. I'm sure that topic came up early and often....and by early I mean most likely around 2pm when we all woke up...
