Yeah, Toadies are awesome live.
Nice people as well. Hung out and did shots with the singer and the guys from his side project when they played Boston a ways back.
I spent last night watching "isolated vocals" videos, and my two favorites are:
I remember reading an interview in which Ann Wilson said she didn't realize she could sing until she tried to impersonate Robert Plant. Woman can sing. (But those Barracuda lyrics are really strange.)
Here's another one - there's more silence than vocals, but when the guys sings it's mind-blowing:

That was cool and really interesting -- I didn't know you could listen to such things. I'd like to hear some pop artists isolated vocals and see what they really sound like or if their voices are just tweaked in the studio?

AC/DC...but in my head, it`s way too early to blast the speakers and my girls are still asleep.
This guy is 68 years young today. My musical hero.
