I used to love Fuel. Brett Scallions' last name was my user name at another forum.
Kevin Miller was the drummer for Fuel, before Brett Scallions went off the deep end. Kevin lives locally and I’ve met him at a couple of party functions of an acquaintance of ours.

On NPR today they were talking about the song For What It’s Worth by Buffalo Springfield. It has become the quintessential Vietnam War protest song. But I just learned a factoid that it wasn’t written about the Vietnam War. It was written about the Sunset Strip Curfew Riots in Hollywood, CA. The city of Hollywood wanted to convert the Strip into an area for businesses and the hippies were a real problem for them in the area. They placed a 10pm curfew on underage kids on the Strip and one night a riot broke out between police and young people on the Sunset Strip... November 12, 1966.

I was listening to Billy Idol's greatest hits. I love 'Eyes without a face'. I used to have the 12 inch extended mix of 'Flesh for Fantasy' but can't find it. Also listening to the Sisters of Mercy greatest hits album.

There is a compilation that I have from the 80s called Vital Idol. I believe the mix you're looking for is on there (It's called Below The Belt Mix on the cd). I have no idea if that cd is still in print or not but you can probably find it on ebay if it's not in print.
