Mr. Blue and I took a walk through Bangor City Forest today. I was trying to share photos but need to resize them for the board so I'll try again later.

Yesterday, we took walks through Coe & Hayford parks. Tonight, we plan to hit up Broadway park, if Mr. Blue ever gets out of this dang Zoom meeting.

going to get things ready for the roofer tomorrow. Got to cover somethings outside to keep stray nails out.Hope it is a fast process and they finish in one day.
Once they get going, it will go fast. Nobody wants to spend a lot of time up on a hot roof. Has it been hot where you are? They will want to get it done lickety split!

Today, I am completing an after school music and art program plan. I have most of the subsequent grant proposal written, just need to finish the budgetary justification and estimate sheet.

I'm also finishing up a deep dive on Piaget's cognitive development and socialization theory. All educational design now is research based, especially cognitive development and social interactions.

My sleep schedule is all messed up - went out shopping for groceries yesterday then to a Garden Centre. Found myself awake at midnight after going down for a snooze around 8:30 p.m. (I know - self inflicted wounds)

Then after staying up for a while and trying to go back to bed I got to sleep around 4:30 a.m. Was woken up at 8:15 this morning by a Home Care nurse who called to say she was coming over in 10 or 15 minutes; I was in the bedroom and it was dark so I thought it was 10:30! (yesterday the nurse said she would come at 10:30 but this was a different nurse)
:facepalm_smiley:

Had to send her away by waiting for her out front, since Josh was sleeping and not due to get up until 9:30 - it seems that we never know from one day to the next when they are coming or at what time.

Oy vey - rant over - hope everyone is having a good day

Attended the virtual masterclass with Vernon Reid of Living Colour today!

it was pretty rad! Totally geeked out. Vernon was very gracious and insightful. Class went almost double the allotted time and Vernon was totally cool with answering questions. He gave us some cool techniques, exercises, and new ways to approach the fretboard.

He answered my questions about shifting time signatures! My big takeaways were be the beat and be authentic in your playing. Basically, find your own voice on the instrument and don’t worry about sounding like anyone else or worrying that you aren’t a good enough player.

Totally lucky and blessed to be able to attend.
