......I'm going to spend the next three weekends at the coast with the BF so I won't be staring at the walls of this house the entire time.
The Munchkin has taught me how to use Facetime, so we can visit while she's away.

Firstly FaceTime is cool.

When two oldest were overseas on college trips it was nice to see their faces and hear voices.

Even though sometimes was like talking to Max Headroom. Yep, yep, yep.

On another note: next THREE weekends at the beach?

I tried to locate you, but the GPS stopped working when I got too close to the corn field..... tried yelling for ya, but all I heard was crickets......

Turn where that dog got runned over last week and the buzzards cleaned it up in about two days but you can still see a little hair, go about ten miles until you get to that oak tree that got struck by lightning last year, eight trailer parks and 37 churches later make a left onto the gravel road, go until that turns into just two lanes for your tires with weeds scraping bottom of even jacked up trucks, make a right at the four way stop, first double wide on left!!!

Simple...GPS indeed.

Asked for a drink to go with my chili-less hot dog.

Last time I stopped in a local gas station was on the way to Holden Beach the first time. It was dark and I was lost and running out of gas. Turned a curve, and right there across from a huge corn field in the middle of nowhere, was a little gas station. Got out of the car to pump my gas, and a guy who looked a lot like Fat Albert comes running out of the store shouting st ne yo gwt back in the car. Scared the bejeezus out of me.
Turns out, they still pump gas for you at that little place......after I got my heart rate under control, I asked for directions and was able to find my way.

I bought a pegasus-- a real pegasus. It's not gold, but it looks gold from a distance. I didn't realize how fragile it was until I broke it twice. But it wasn't expensive, so I put it back together with Krazy Glue.
