...JoJo I hope the back improves...40 years with a bad one qualifies me to know how you feel...again, all my love to my extended family here....we had dad to the hospital Saturday because of weakness, falls and his afib...was admitted and I’ve been here everyday since...labs and diagnostic imaging were all good except for one little detail....he broke his damn back in a recent fall at the house!!! No wonder he hurt. Compression fracture at L1 which was cemented today and he is now pain free and going home later this evening. I’m here waiting to meet with a candidate to watch over him, so my time on the Board will be limited....I’m still hurting emotionally, but your kindness has helped....I’m off to do the geriatric boogaloo....

Tomorrow, my 9 year old Grand are leaving on a jet plane for Las Vegas. My 3rd plane trip and her 1st. We are gonna see my daughter/her Mother. My 3rd time outta the Central time zone, too. It's like Paul Simon going to Graceland. Lol We haven't seen her since September and she's easier to miss more from a distance. I'm excited (Spongebob eager face).
I enjoyed my trip to Dallas in 2015. Didn't see any of the historical places you did, though. I toured Southfork, and I could have cooked enchiladas under my armpits. But, I regret nothing.

Seems right. I wonder if he signed any of the books they had available for guests to write in, I didn’t check any of the other pages aside from the one I wrote in.

On a trip to Dallas and a visit to a bar(billed as having the worlds tallest bar, I think) with co-workers, things go a little out of hand and I was asked to never come back to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Haven't been back in 25 years. On a more positive note I did get to meet Wolfman Jack and two Dallas Cowboy players at the hotel, though.

LOL...that's a cool story, at least. The city lights are pretty spectacular. I bet it was not that much different 25 years ago.
