I would love to see him collaborate with David Lynch on a story or movie based on related events (real or imagined) happening the the small towns of Twin Peaks, WA. and Derry/Castle Rock, ME.
Get David Lynch, Stephen King and throw in Lorgos Lanthimos (The Lobster, The Killing of a Sacred Deer).

I think that's the closest people who have never tried Acid could get to trying Acid.

Steve was a big Twin Peaks fan back in the day. I always hoped that he would do something with Lynch concerning TP as it is more akin to Steve's writings. But, he opted to do something else with Chris Carter for The X Files and we know how that turned out.....

I thought it would be cool if he revisited the going-back-in-time idea, except within his own universe. He could have new characters (or Roland and Tet) going back in time to prevent events from different novels. Examples:
Tad's death in Cujo, Paul Sheldon's car accident in Misery, Gage getting hit by the Orinco truck.
In other cases it'd be interesting to see how these changes affected the story and thus giving us an alternate novel, essentially. There are several ways he could take this idea. What changes or differences could you foresee? Do you like this idea?
