Ah,so did Mercedes Benz send him a nice car as a thank you for Mr Merecedes,lol..SK needs to do a short story that is just chock full of brand names as a sly little poke at the endorsement aspect to the business.. ;)
My guess is it was more of a relief that he didn't hear from them at all. Having their brand/vehicle used as a murder weapon could have had some negative communication. ;)

Don't now if she still has it but Tabby owned a Mercedes, a red one I believe, which you can see in the picture on the back of the Viking hardback novel of Insomnia. It's on the right hand side and only shows about 1/3 of it from the back end.

I went to the shop the coffee shop the other day and I pronounce 'sure' now like 'shoe'. It is somone's fault on here. I'm not shure why. With regard to the above topic, I think King would discard most stuff (like who send paper mail anyway) but he would keep a lot of stuff that he liked from the 70's-90's, and he would store it away in one of those rental places. I read somewhere that he don't get rid of books he has read so he must store them(I think King is slightly obsessive that way). I looked at a vedio on the internet of Harlen Ellison and his comic collection. King would have to have some sort of system otherwise he's be swamped by masses of stuff coming through. I understand that he uses(or his office) databases to track stuff.
