What if the person buried there was evil to start with? Would they come back as good?

One thing I just noticed about Pet Sematary: all the people buried there were good people in life, and came back as cannibalistic demons.
What if, however, a person buried there was a violent sadistic psychopath in life? Would that person paradoxically come back as a hero?

....firstly-Welcome!.....to your question, that would be a neat twist-however, as was said in the novel-the ground is sour-and in my opinion it would simply twist the already dark of soul to even more horrendous activity.....

Oh I think I like the way this thread is heading..can you imagine an evil Mr Rogers,or Andy Griffith's Aunt Bea? There should be a movie with just nice characters gone bad in a zombie apocalypse.. Welcome to the skmb!

What if John Wayne Gacy were buried there? Hard to imagine him coming out any worse.

Or.....what if the townspeople decided to end the Wendigo, and they sent in....Robocop! Could Robocop make it over the deadfall?? Could Robocop handle the Wendigo in a fist fight? Would any of the Wendigo’s tricks work on Robocop and would Robocop become frightened?

Let’s take it one step further, what about skynet? Surely the Wendigo would be no match for an army of T-800 Terminators. Would the Wendigo make a deal with skynet?

Would Predators hunt the Wendigo? Makes sense that they would as the Wendigo would be a worthy kill.

What about xenomorphs? What if the Wendigo fell trap to a xenomorph facehugger? What would a Wendigo-spawned xenomorph look like? Would it have magic powers AND have the ability to spit acid?

What about Batman? Is Solomon Grundy any tougher? Shouldn’t Batman win?

Hasn’t Wolverine actually fought and defeated the Wendigo? Would Wolverine befriend the Wendigo to bring back a deceased Jean Grey? Is that how she became the Dark Phoenix???

With the exception of Gage, Batterman, and the bull that chased children, it’s not like too many of the animals came back as evil, more like a hollow shell of what they once were. Church got more violent towards mice and stuff, but he didn’t really directly harm any person outside of assisting Gage at the end.

A cat can't really harm a person, it is too weak. If a cat would seriously try to attack a human, you just have to kick it strongly a number of times and it's dead.

The Pet Sematary version of the Wendigo is more spirit than physical so the xenomorph, predator and robocop, assuming that could track it, likely wouldn't be able to kill it. The version Wolverine dealt with was more of a werewolf hybrid creature.

This does lead me to a slightly off topic question....is the area beyond the dead fall still on earth? is it a haunted patch of woods in Maine, or is the dead fall a sort of Thinny? has anyone seen the burial ground from the air? Louis asks this very question in the book but no one really answers it.

I always though it was real. It was a burial place of native Americans who really lived in the area, why wouldn't it be real?

But no one would dare retaliate against a cat

Retaliate for what?

I don't know how deeply SK thinks his plots through. But the Wendigo doesn't seem to have anything to do with pets or animals anyway. It's meant to be a warning against cannibalism. This was such a taboo among the native Americans, that they warned if you partook in it, you would change into an insatiable, cannibalistic monster, the Wendigo.
So why the Wendigo was even interested in bringing the pets back from the dead, I don't know.

The Wendigo just kind of lived in the forest, I don’t think it was directly the reason for the burial ground having powers
