And if you own or owned a Golf

I did have a Golf. But we were in an accident. Hit head-on and that little car saved my life. I love VWs!

Cambridge Glass.

I have a few pieces. Lovely stuff.

My current home is known for the Naval Shipyard. Decommissioned ships are brought here to be dismantled and new ships are built, too.

The S.S. Turner Joy is a permanent museum

We used to have the Missouri but the Navy decided to move it to Pearl Harbor. The SSTJ is nice but the Missouri brought in more tourism.

I grew up in a small prairie town, in the middle of Saskatchewan. The only famous/infamous thing I can recall is that a guy I knew, after a party, and in an alcohol induced frenzy, decided to climb the water tower to be closer to Jesus. We tried to stop him to no avail and eventually we went on our way. I guess he left town shortly thereafter because no-one saw him around anymore. 4 months later they found his decomposed body in the water tower where he most likely drowned.

That was a very nice story, my neighborhood celebrity is the redneck lady who posted a big sign in front of her house threatening to kill her neighbors after they fixed a board in the fence they shared (as told on another thread) this lady lives right across the street from me and that sign was there for everyone to read for about a week until the cops came and told her death threats are illegal in the state of Texas.

Two kids from my mom’s hometown were in the 90’s adaptation of Lord of the Flies. Sorry you missed out on your chance to make it big, as an aspiring film director, I’ll be sure to look into casting you as a lead role.

Cuteness is gone now...

However I think I would make a great character actor...

Brother if it pays I'm your #34...

Hold on, read somewhere I have to have a line to get paid...

Also would my name be above title?

I'll have my people call your people.
Don’t worry, your the hobo who asks the leading star for a dime so he can get a smoke (pretend inflation never happened). My director says that characters without a name need to make up a name for themselves, just because the script for the upcoming school production calls my role “page” doesn’t mean that that’s his name, I’m Stanley the Page and I play him with pride. You need to make the background character #34 into your own character. And of course your name would be 34 characters down the background characters section of the credits.

For example, would background ch. 34 be the kind of guy who says “Excuse me sir, may you spare a dime” or is he the guy that goes “Give me a dime m*****f***er or I’mma shank you”. It’s all in how you play your character .

OK not to nitpick my character but if I am going to cuss and/or shank somebody it would definitely be for a sum significantly north of 10 cents. No I am simply a man who has fallen on hard times, probably a stockbroker from the great depression era (hence the dime for cigs). All I need is a nicotine fix to get me to my next big idea which would help me make it back to the one percent club. I would simply ask for this dime to perhaps get something to eat. Then shuffle to mom and pop store and get me some Camels, non filter of course. They hadn't been invented yet...

See I haven't thought about your offer at all...

Yes you’ve got it, the script calls for you to shank him anyways so he can conviniently transition to the next plot point

OK then I am really a for hire hit man employed by the guy's wife because he has been catting around with her best friend. The dime request is just a ruse to get me close to do the deed...

OK this thread is about what your town is famous for...

Like I said...

We'll do lunch.

You see, it’s this movie called “The Shankening” where people suddenly start shanking each other for no reason (Think Cell with the phoners) Your character is the first person to be infected, and shanks the main protagonist. The streets then unfold into chaos as people start shanking each other left and right, no one is safe. The main character survives his initial shanking and has to find a way to stop this strange obsession taking over people, and what’s causing it
(Plants).
