For the last few weeks, I have craved pickled beets. My mom used to do them up from the garden, and I loved them. Don't know why I want them so bad..

I don't think I've ever had pickled beets. Maybe the craving has to do with the holidays coming? Makes people think of family and comfort food, I think.
I crave nachos all of the time, with sour cream, guacamole, nacho cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, carne asada, pico de gallo, jalapenos, etc.
Could be, Debbie. I know I miss my mom's cooking. She could put a pinch of this, and a dash of that in something, and it was always delicious.
Years before they started putting pudding in cake mixes, she did that. If she had only known, she could have been rich..
I can't handle the hot stuff, but pico de gallo is awesone. My daughter can make that, and it is really good.
Maybe I could make some and share them with the board members, lol.

Doritos. I rarely have them, but if they had even a sliver of nutritional value, I'd eat nothing else.

I am not a big eater, but I find myself wanting/eating strange things such as that.
Now I want beets. Sometimes it's just a plain potato. Sometimes raw potato.
I like a plain baked potato sometimes too. Or plain boiled potatoes. When Karen makes them for dinner, they don't last long!
