11.22.63. Fascinating subject matter, brilliant character development, a large supporting cast and a good length.

Even though everyone says king was at his best in the 80s, this is my 2nd favourite book just behind IT.

Or if you want a quick one, I can recommend joyland.
I have read 11/22/63. I can't believe I forgot to add that one to the list! It was definitely one of my favorites just behind IT and The Stand

I think I'll go with one of these or Carrie. Thanks everyone for the suggestions!
You can't go wrong with any of these three but I think Pet Sematary is, even in this age of jaded horror readers, still a hardcore horror novel. Even after subsequent reads it doesn't lose its power.

So if I'm reading this correctly, the above list is all the books you HAVE read? If so then I noticed Duma Key is not on there - you could give that one a try.
