Was hoping with today's technology that they would do the dt like they did lord of the rings. Would u do one long movie, a movie for each book, 3 movies ect. I was thinking of doing what they did with star wars. Do the last 3 first then go back and do the earlier ones. I know that doesn't work in books but seems to work with movies. Seems people like to know the character s then see them back in time? Wondering your thoughts

Part 2...... this probably been covered but who would u like to see direct this and who would play roland, man in black, Eddie ect. Roland I see as Viggo mortenson. Man in black Benedict cumberbatch. Eddie I like as Topher grace. There is one I like better for Eddie but can't think of his name. Skinny guy. I think he's played in greaser movie of some kind. Man its bugging me.

I'd love to see the DT on the big screen, and I pray that they do it justice. I think fans of LOTR doubted the story could be produced as well as it was, so to me there's hope.

Another ray of hope is the outstanding job that HBO has done with Game of Thrones. Outlander on STARZ has some pretty good potential as well.
Casting Roland well is crucial I think, the other players not as much so. He's got to be interesting, appealing, deep, and very mysterious. He'll have a lot of explaining to do so the audience can understand what's going on, so he's got to have an exceptional ability to draw and hold attention while being very clear. I liked the idea of Russell Crowe for the part. I'm not sure how many actors could be adequate.

I've been hearing good things about Scott Eastwood.

I haven't seen any Game of Thrones yet. Whomever they choose needs to be well known. I assume those actors are familiar to people unlike myself who doesn't keep up with a lot of stuff out there.

He's been popping up in a few movies of late. He was popping in a Kate Upton/Cameron Diaz flick not too long ago.
