I grew up in Illinois. Forget it. They're projecting Chicago as Illinois. That is not the case.

What they have for Colorado, at least the Front Range, is better:

•Directions to anywhere always includes "toward" the mountains or "away from" the mountains. (Well, we say things like "north," "south," "east," and "west."

•When you go anywhere else, the air feels sticky.

•It will always be Mile High to you.

•You know float trips are better than a day at the beach.

•You don't bat an eye at the idea of rotary tiller or outhouse races.

•You know how to call those Hogs (and it doesn't involve pigs). ;;D

Lmao....

That site was clueless about MA.

Frappes and milkshakes are different things.

Not everyone I know goes to the Cape for vacation.

Parking in Boston is way easier than parking in Manhattan.

Wicked lame.... :)
That one did seem lame to me.
Now, I have to know 3 cool or unique things about your area.....

•You know all the best "meat and three" places.

•You believe RC and Moon Pies were meant to be consumed together.

•You have a lot of clothes that are orange.

You're right Sunny - I'm from TN - so is king family fan

I do know the best meat & three places. RC and Moon Pies are more of a mountain locale thing - over there on the other side of TN - I'm in the desert area. I've done my tour of duty in orange for sure, even made up a line dance to Rocky Top.

Hmmmm.... the frequent gatherings around tornado announcements.

The religious intensity of corn and corn on the cob.

The glorious hardwoods in autumn.

Relentless (and I don't mean it in a bad way, necessarily) blue-collar culture.

In the evening, June bugs and fireflies.

I left long ago, as I was transitioning to adulthood.

It's true about the mountains. When I go somewhere else, I always wonder how people know which way is west. I mean, without waiting for the sun to go down....
