I'm always down with a new SK book but you know what? I would be equally happy knowing that the man whose work has been a huge part of my life since 1984 is taking a well-earned break. He damn well deserves it. Plus, you know when he gets recharged, us readers will be rewarded with some new treasure.

I agree. I'm wondering if the reference is to Thinner or the realization that Thinner was better than that Orwell book.

Of course he does! For some reason I'm thinking screenplay but I don't know where, or if, I heard that. I know the Dark Tower series needs a book, but what if he did something like Dr. Sleep using another well known classic?

Nice!
Prequels seem all the rage today. Why not a Cujo prequel named"Chew?"
point, let me nibble on it while it rests. Ir it could be called Everything's relevant. I mean Cujo could be called, Mulling on grizzly scenes never to be . . Or have they? I am so sorry, I know better than to perseverate on that one. For what it's worth I loved the book.
