Hi! I'm sorry I haven't welcomed you to the board before. (My Momma raised me better.)
We love flour tortillas. (I can make a dozen in twenty minutes, no problem.)
My Daddy was a welder and he made each of us a comal that we could cook three tortillas at a times. Like this

In my house, my dad is the one who makes the tortillas. He worked long shifts, so he did 2 kilos of flour at a time (his mom made them everyday for breakfast, though, and he remembers that fondly).
I'll pass on the salsa. I have never been good with hot/spicy food. I prefer milder flavors (must be one of the reasons beans and cheese are two of my favorites).

We used sorghum. Very hard to find that anymore so I have to use molasses. Just peanut butter and molasses and hot biscuits. Yum!
That I have two papers and a presentation to do before Sunday night. Not how I want to spend my vacation from work

We have some local sorghum fields. It smells wonderful when harvested.
Right now im thinking about my Friday visit to Chaco Canyon. The old home of the Anasazi. At least 6 different ruin cities in several floors. Desert some hundred years before the spaniards arrived. The descendants of these people moved south and are now living in the Pueblos of New mexico.
That my Sociology paper is done and I still have a ton of reading to so as well as needing to put together another presentation and write another paper for next week's Managerial Communication class

Larry is at work still for about another half hour. Then it won't be so quiet!
Karen called a bit ago to tell me that they are there. The hotel room doesn't have a fridge, and when she made the reservations way back in January, she was told the rooms had a fridge. She is not happy. So now they have to keep ice in the cooler for water, and juice.
Crap, she should complain, loudly!

Planning for Laser Rush this weekend. A friend has this every year. He's a bit of a laser fiend and started putting them to Rush music a few years ago. His arrays grows and improves every year. We drag the Vapor Trailer down there (only an hour away) and stay overnight. I am famous for my chili and have to bring some every year. So I'm planning what to pack (so many Rush tees to choose from!!) and so forth.
